Colin Quinn wanted Artie in Fat Camp

Colin Quinn came in to the show today to talk about his personal/professional life, depression, Artie, fat camp and his anxiety with Robin’s relationship with Jimmy. Colin expressed his worries of Artie’s health calling Artie’s problems a “compilation of addictions” and that he thinks Artie doesn’t take it serious enough. He is afraid that something could happen which at that point might be too late or irreversible to change.

Colin offended by Artie

Not too long ago Artie mentioned that he might go to fat camp and that a B-list celebrity came up with the idea. Colin admitted today that after the Pat Cooper roast he went up to Artie and suggested that they both go to fat camp for a purification or jump start on getting control of their health. Colin said he heard Artie on the air mention that a B-lister had suggested it and he was offended that Artie didn’t say a friend talked to him. Colin called himself a C-lister.

He also said that Artie told him to set it up. “What am i his assistant? I’m a selfish comic too i want someone to set it up for me… he has an assistant”. Artie said that he only asked for information and that if let Teddy set it up, they would both be going to skinny camp.

High Pitch Mike back at it

They were discussing the wrecked JD and HP Mike bit on the wrap-up show today when high pitch mike started lashing out at Artie again. Artie called him a “huge fag” and he retaliated with a slew of obsessively rehearsed lines:

“You think you are a hilarious comedian, you are on the biggest show on earth and your still a nobody”

“Your movie failed … DVD is $4 at circuit city”

“Your cupcake helps fight aids but every word out of your mouth is fagot”

“I hope you die like grandma Caprio.”

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this but I think John the Stutterer and Lisa G. are brother and sister. This picture from HowardStern.com is disturbing:

June 11 – Catching up with Artie Lange

Here are a couple headlines in the world of Artie (dash) Lange.

•  Artie went to L.A. for Spike TV’s Guy’s Choice award and didn’t get laid
• Artie is scoping out a 6,000 sq ft place on the Jersey shore (boat included)
• Script deal landed with Fox to shoot a pilot for a new midnight show in the vein of The Chris Rock show.
